The LIC JAZZ Fest was a great success! So many great musicians here in Long Island City (Queens) in New York City. Many thanks to Gus Rodriguez & Richard Mazda for producing this event at The Secret Theatre. It was the perfect venue and I look forward to playing again.
Pete Mac's photos of Jazz greats from the 70s and 80s were one of the highlights for me, as they inspired the moment I enetered the theatre.
Adam and Sunny were killing as always. Everyone had a great time. Truly a big cultural contribution to the community. It was my absolute pleasure to listen to all the great artists, which included J. Walter Hawkes, Christian Coleman, Anthony Cekay, Martin Kelly, Hiromi Suda and more! So many talented musicians and such a positive energy that brought peace to my day. THANK YOU!

Just announced, Steve Blanco to play LIC Jazz festival on March 28th 2010 at the Secret Theater in Long Island City Queens New York.

Completing my feature film script Benny Black that I will direct as well. I will need some producers to help me bring the project to life.

The Steve Blanco Trio placed first runner up as part of the Digital Cafe Tour series and they will be filming our set at the Baggot Inn on Saturday Feb 9th at 9pm. It's a FREE show. We'll also be interviewed on WDHA fm radio.
